EPS I have looked many years for a lightweight substrate that is rigid, easy to cut, not prone to warping and easy to hang. This Industrial Density EPS (expanded polystyrene) meets all these qualifications. It is not readily available commercially. I buy it in large quantities so I am able to offer it to you at affordable individual piece prices in three pre-cut shapes: circle, square or diamond and triangle. Custom shapes and sizes are available by contacting me. There is no need to use messy fiberglass mesh and cement when using lightweight tesserea or stained glass with this product. EPS shapes can be stacked to make three dimensional work or affixed side by side to form larger sheets.
